Biography: Obituaries

Obituaries

Obituaries can be a rich source of biographical information for well-known people who have died.

There are two kinds of obituaries. One is the kind that a loved one’s family writes and pays to publish in a newspaper. This will give limited biographical information.

The other kind is written by a newspaper or other periodical and includes the life story and achievements of a public figure.
