The UFV Library is participating in a program to purchase books from Sage through "Evidence Based Acquisition". (EBA) From December 2017 until the end of December 2018, UFV users will be able to view all of Sage's books and reference books on the Sage Knowledge platform. (Note that videos and business cases are not included in this.) At the end of this period, librarians will select titles to purchase for the UFV collection, based on factors such as usage statistics.

UFV Library has purchased hundreds of Reference titles (encyclopedias and handbooks) hosted on the Sage Knowledge platform. These provide authoritative coverage of social sciences topics.
Individual chapters may be downloaded as a PDF and loaded into e-book readers or handheld devices in that format.
Sage Knowledge books are searchable though the library catalogue and the Find It Discovery Service.
Sage Knowledge has the ability to resize text and the webpages/pdfs should be readable by screen-readers.If you are still having difficulty with access to Sage you can request a pdf
