Streaming Video Collections

Through its streaming video collections, the library provides access to thousands of videos online. This guide offers instructions on how to provide access to these collections for teaching purposes.

Tips & Tricks

It's good practice to test web links to library resources to make sure they can be accessed from off campus.

If the link is properly configured, you will be directed to the video's web page. Take the URL of the video you want to link to and go to our link generator.

Your link should go from something like this: https://academic.can-core.ca/title/t130301/3429 to something like this:https://go.openathens.net/redirector/ufv.ca?url=https%3A%2F%2Facademic.can-core.ca%2Ftitle%2Ft130301%2F3429

If, after doing this and testing again, the link still does not work, please contact us at libdatabases@ufv.ca and we'll do our best to resolve the problem quickly, or provide you with alternatives.

The Stó:lō have an intrinsic relationship with what they refer to as S’olh Temexw (Our Sacred Land), therefore we express our gratitude and respect for the honour of living and working in this territory.
