The OAPEN Library is a collaborative initiative to develop and implement a sustainable Open Access publication model for academic books in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It works with publishers, libraries, and research funders.

The first and largest single collection of free eBooks, in accordance with the project's mission to encourage the creation and distribution of eBooks as widely as possible. Multiple eBook formats are available.

Index to millions of ebooks created through Google's partner and library digitisation projects. Public domain books are free to download in PDF format, many others offer free previews.

Open Library
An online catalogue providing free access, links to free access, or records of books in pursuit of its stated goal: "One web page for every book ever published." Over 20 million records are available, with free access to almost 2 million digitised books.
