Teaching and Learning Together: Resources for Distance Teaching

This guide is a gathering, sharing and connecting of online learning resources for the Teacher Education Department community

About This Guide

With teaching and learning moving from physical to online classrooms, this guide will point you to available online resources, including information from your school district, instructors and peers.

District Resources

Where available, connect with your teacher librarians in your district. Many teacher librarians have started curating resources to share with the teaching community and the public. SurreySchoolOne is an example. Other teacher librarians may share resources through social media, web conferencing platforms or district intranets. Don’t forget about your district libraries, learning commons and digital resources. These include Open School BC, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Langley, Mission and Maple Ridge. Look as well for resources through the Fraser Valley Regional Library and UFV Library.

Your Suggestions

The University of the Fraser Valley is situated on the traditional territory of the Stó:lō peoples. The Stó:lō have an intrinsic relationship with what they refer to as S’olh Temexw (Our Sacred Land), therefore we express our gratitude and respect for the honour of living and working in this territory.
