This guide has been developed as a general guide to UFV's collection of Indigenous Literatures. It is not a comprehensive listing of resources, but rather a starting point from which you can begin your research according to your information needs.
This guide focuses on UFV material written by First Nations, Inuit and Metis people, aiming to create a list of Canadian authors. We recognize however the colonial nature of that focus and have included other authors of Turtle Island.
Sometimes the author/editor isn't Indigenous, but they provide a voice for unique First Nations/Inuit/Metis content.
