Seed Library

The Chilliwack Library has created a seed library for UFV and the surrounding community. Here we'll share resources and how to tutorials on planting, and preserving seeds.

Welcome

The UFV Seed library is a project of the University of the Fraser Valley's Chilliwack campus library.          Logo: UFV Seed Library in a column with cascade of yellow, brown, grey, and black seeds down the words.

What is a seed library?

A seed library is a collection of seeds that are lent or shared with the public. It's purpose is to encourage interest in growing, preserve plants through propagation and further sharing of seeds.

Please visit the UFV Seed Library on the Chilliwack campus, borrow seeds and remember to return a donation of seeds after harvest.

The seed library is located in the Chilliwack Campus Library on UFV's Canada Education Park Campus. We are located in A building at 45190 Caen Avenue. Chilliwack, BC.

Please always double check our current hours on our website.
