Introduction

Podcasts are a relaxed but informative way to learn about history. The following are a sample of podcasts that are relevant to American history, but this is not an exhaustive list. Just remember that you still have to cite podcasts and you can find more information on that here (scroll down to Podcasts).

BackStory Radio

From the University of Virginia. Historians Ed Ayers, Peter Onuf, and Brian Balogh take current affairs and look at the history behind them. "BackStory is a weekly podcast that uses current events in America to take a deep dive into our past. Hosted by noted U.S. historians, each episode provides listeners with different perspectives on a particular theme or subject – giving you all sides to the story and then some".Image result for backstory radio

The University of the Fraser Valley is situated on the traditional territory of the Stó:lō peoples. The Stó:lō have an intrinsic relationship with what they refer to as S’olh Temexw (Our Sacred Land), therefore we express our gratitude and respect for the honour of living and working in this territory.
