The best way to search for government statistics is to google and limit the domain to .gc.ca (which is the Government of Canada site). E.g. "computer usage" statistics site:.gc.ca
Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development provides comparative statistics between countries on common issues. Not all the information is available for free online but if you look for older versions of the annual publications you will usually find the full text electronic document.
