Keyword Search examples:

metis and juvenile (will retrieve both fiction and non-fiction titles)

indigenous and juvenile and fiction

Example Library of Congress subject heading in a record:

Search FVRL Library catalogue to look for children's fiction/non-fiction available in this region.

Search Worldcat  to see potential children's titles available to check at UFV Library and FVRL Library.

Internet Searching for children's booklists

Using a Internet Search Engine to locate children’s booklists.  It goes back to the language that you use to locate the titles.   

Example search:   "classroom management" picturebooks list  or five senses book list library

But also may need to try searching for specific ideas that you would like addressed in book:   respect picture books booklist.
