About Passport GMID Industry Profiles

Passport GMID offers news, profiles, analysis, reports, and data for industries in the fast-moving consumer goods (FCMG) sectors. A search for an industry reveals a variety of types of information:

  • Briefings (global and country) by category or strategy
  • Company profiles
  • Datagraphics (market statistics, forecase models, price trackers, product ingredients, brands)
  • Opinion
  • Trade statistics (exports, imports, volume)

Finding an Industry Profile

For Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FCMG) Sectors

  1. Click on the Industries link in the main menu.
  2. Choose a sector from the list.
  3. Choose an industry within the sector.

For Other Sectors (Canada only)

  1. Click on the Industries link in the main menu.

  2. Choose the B2B sector.

  3. Choose Industrial from the list

  4. Click the View all in the Latest Reports section.

  5. Filter your results as follows:

    • Geographies = Canada
    • Categories = the relevant sector or industry (you may choose only one at a time)

Working with the Industry Landing Page

  1. Latest reports: the most recently published briefings, opinons, datagraphics, country reports and more related to the industry. Click on the "View all" link to see all documents.
  2. Trends: the latest briefings, opinion and more related to specific trends within the industry.
  3. Dashboards: interactive dashboards showing industry-related data (market size, per capita, forecast growth) and forecast models
