Assignment

Inquiries to choose from:

 

  • What has been your experience with the burden of secrecy and silence of secret stories surrounded by shame.
  • What is a secret that had been weighing on you, that you now know, once released allowed emotional trauma trapped in your emotional body, to heal.
  • What did your scapecoat reveal about the traumas hidden in you? (this is reflecting on the art process we did in class)
  • Anxiety and fear come to us from experiences that may be unavoidable,
  • How has grieving the disappointments, release energy for healing trauma?
  • How has creativity open your heart to feel the feelings you once felt compelled to silence?

 Rubrics:

  •  Include 3-5 resources that support your understanding of trauma.
  •  Share a unique personal story.
  •  You may include images created in your art practice during class with references for your artwork.
  •  Ensure you are supporting your writing with quotes from sources on attachment, and trauma explored in class and/or those included in the libguide.

The Paper is due on the 7th week of our course.
