Janelle's Introduction to Research Guide

Hello & Reminders

Hi CMNS 125!

I hope you find this guide helpful as you complete your research for your final paper. Quick reminder that the assignment states you need a minimum of 5 sources and at least 2 of them must be scholarly. If you have questions after the session, feel free to contact me or another librarian for assistance. You can find a link to book an appointment with me or my email on the left of this page under my profile.

Best of luck on your assignments!

-Janelle

Public Transportation Topic

You will likely not be able to find academic/scholarly articles about public transportation in the Fraser Valley. For these sources for your paper, you will likely need to take a broader approach and look for topics such as:

  • public transportation and post-secondary institutions
  • public transportation and college students
  • public transportation and international students

Remember to think of synonyms for keywords to help you search. Explore the subjects used in relevant articles for ideas.
