What do I do first?

You need to take a look at the topic and think about it. 

Look at the image below and you can see that I:

1. identify the important words in the question

2. decide if all the words I think are important are really that important

3. think of alternative words in case the ones in the question don't work.

Can't remember what to do?

1. In the search box put your search terms.

2. Hit Search.

3. If you are off campus remember to login with your student number and myUFV password.

4. Then search your results for an article that looks good to you. When you find it click on the PDF full text link/HTML full text  to open the article. If there is no link for the full text, click on Full Text Finder

5. If you are looking for books, click on the limit Catalogue only. You might have to change your search terms to be more simple when looking for books. If the Scholarly Peer Reviewed Journals limit is ticked you will have to remove it to see books.

If you are in EBSCO click on the PDF FULL TEXT link and look for the following image at the right of the article.

Added Bonus: when you email yourself the article you will get a citation with it. You can choose either APA or MLA.
