If you want to learn details of muscles, nerves and bones of the body, this is the place to start. Choose which part of the body you want to look at and then you can select each individual part to identify and study. All information can be downloaded and printed. You can rotate the structure to get different perspectives and you can add layers starting at the bone structure building up all the way to the skin layer. PLEASE NOTE: You may have to clear your cache/history every time you change to a new module.
First choose the part of the body you want to look at from the 3D atlas menu page:
In this example we have chosen to look at the knee. The Vastus intermedius was selected. The muscle is highlighted on the image to the left and the information is displayed on the right. Under the information details you will see save and print options as well as the ability to navigate to other parts of the knee display.
You will also notice that they have specific section devoted to anatomy and exercise. Go to the menu page and select Functional Anatomy.
And finally they have Anatomy and Physiology modules which offer you quizzes, case studies and more:
