Keyword Search examples:
science and juvenile (will retrieve both fiction and non-fiction titles)
earth science and juvenile
rocks and juvenile
plants and juvenile and fiction
plants and juvenile and literature
plants and juvenile (for both fiction and non-fiction)
**To only search the Curriculum Collection go to the Advanced Search. Choose the dropdown menu "Location" and select Curriculum Collection.
Example Library of Congress subject heading in a record:
Salmon--Life cycles--Juvenile literature.
Search FVRL Library catalogue to look for children's fiction/non-fiction available in this region.
Search Worldcat to see potential children's titles available to check at UFV Library and FVRL Library.

Example Reviewing Journals
Using a Internet Search Engine to locate children’s booklists. It goes back to the language that you use to locate the titles.
Example search: "earth science" picturebooks or childrens books list or five senses book list library or teacher
But also may need to try searching for specific ideas that you would like addressed in book: plant life cycle picture books booklist.
**Remember the CRAAP test or the 5Ws
