A Word About Subject Headings

UFV library uses the Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) to provide subject access to the items in our collection. The LCSH terms used to describe Indigenous peoples are outdated and inappropriate in a Canadian context, a fact that has had implications in Canadian libraries for years.Bone, C.
