1. Connect to Proquest at:

2. Click on the person icon at the top right hand corner.
3. Click on Create My Research Account. You do not need to create an account but you will then see a tab called Widgets.
4. Click on "Widgets"
5. Choose Widget Layout
   1. Styles and Themes - Select one of the 2 styles
   2. Select a colour theme
   3. Click on Headings and Tips.  Enter a custom heading and custom wording for a tip, if desired.
   4. Click on Size to change from the default size. Choose custom and set size to fit your platform.
6. Choose Widget Setup
   1. Select the databases from the list presented
   2. Click on "Search Limits & Options".  Make any changes you desire.  I recommend you leave the search as "any field."
   3. IMPORTANT STEP.  Click on "Proxies & Accounts".  Select Authentication Method of "Athens".  The details should read account ID 10969 and Group ID 104694
      
7. Click on Get Widget
8. Copy and paste HTML into your website

How to Insert into Brightspace: The Search Box 

1. Login to Brightspance.
2. Create a New Page.
3. You cannot use the typical insert stuff option. You need to click on the three dots to the right of the toolbar (1).
4. Look for the source icon (2) and select.
5. Copy and paste the code below into the code box. If there is already some code in the box it is okay to delete it.
